Interwoven: Fiber in Contemporary Art artists are those whose work varies from the sculptural to pictorial and from two-dimensional wall hangings to full three-dimensional free standing pieces.  While some of the artists of Interwoven: Fiber in Contemporary Art use a variety of techniques which have evolved from craft forms into works that make unique statements, others take fiber as a point of departure into new ways of sculpting. 
The artists of Interwoven: Fiber in Contemporary Art are Ellen Dickinson, Ruth Douzinas, Thea Lanzisero, Jessica Penagos, Tamika Rivera, and Emma Welty.  Thier works have been seen throughout the Northeast and beyond.
